The BBC to the rescue

Monday, 17 October 2011 10:47

To date, I have planned and hosted 18 children's parties. Invitation, food, party favours...  I can do almost on autopilot but thinking of something interesting to actually do with the children I still find a huge challenge and getting more difficult with each new birthday.

This year the BBC came to the rescue in the form of the Children's Television Tour. For a small fee, 18 children and 4 adults were escorted around the BBC television centre by our lovely and chatty guide Rachel. The children had the opportunity to try their hand at hosting a news programme, play their own version of the CBBC show Copycats, test the blue screen, explore an old Blue Peter set and even see a few Strictly Come Dancing stars as they prepared for their evening show! So if you are looking for something different to do at your next children's party, I highly recommend you call the BBC!

A big thanks to our in house designer Jennifer for creating our bespoke invitation.
